Glaucoma information + local protocol
Any patient that you suspect has glaucoma or pressures higher than 21mmHg ( taking into account the advice regarding age and pressures) should be referred to an accredited Optometrist for further assessment.
(AND NOT REFERRED TO THEIR GP UNLESS VERY URGENT)
Please provide a completed PCT OHT referral form for the accredited Optometrist.
