Glaucoma Referral Refinement Scheme

Herefordshire runs a glaucoma referral refinement scheme.

If a patient is considered a glaucoma suspect, through initial IOP, fileds or pressures, then they should be referred to an accredited practitioner via the Glaucoma Referral Refinement Scheme.  The Victoria Eye Unit woudl prefer all glaucoma referrals are directed via this route.

If you are not an accredited optometrist, then please direct your referral to an accredited practitioner for referral refinement.

If you are not accredited, but would like to be accredited then please contact us here.  We will send you the WOPEC course codes, and once completed you can complete the practical OSCE.
